wooo hooo.. ppl keep pestering me to update my blog.. n soooo i am, with my latest report !! hmm, but warn u.. this is gonna be a super duper long entry.. sooo.. have a popcorn in front of u, sit back n relax...
sat.. reached changi airport at ard 1130.. cos mux reach there 2 hrs b4 the the flight.. soo.. we dilly dally go there.. after all the procedures, we went for lunch at ard 12.. wah kao, we went to order bread n egg.. this auntie ah, i think she mux be a "newbie".. she actually ask another old uncle whether she should toast the bread this way, n ask him if the eggs are supposed to put inside the metal mug.. omg.. this is not the worst ok.. she actually asked us izzit that she mux scope the egg shell also.. oh shit.. is this her 1st time working ? we waited ard 15 - 20 mins for our 1 piece of bread n 2 eggs..
suan le.. ard 1230, we mux hurry to the gate le.. cos it announced .. " the gate for SQ866 will be closing.." oh siao liao, we were far from the gate lo.. but reali early to close the gate le lo hor.. kiasu lehx.. anyway, we boarded the plane.. i was sitted in the center.. luckily ah, got a small tv in front, den can get to choose alot of movies to c.. such as The Island, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sky High, The 40-year-old virgin, Batman Begins, Initial D, Lords Of the Rings ( all the 3 series), and many more..
since i am underage to watch The 40-year-old virgin in S'pore.. i watched it on the plane of cos.. super funny lehx.. not reali "yellow" la, hai hao lo.. lolXx.. but the flight was only 3 hrs, after i finished watching, i wanted to watch charlie and the chocolate factory, but watched for ard 30 mins, we reaching le.. sian...
upon reaching, the weather not that cold, but it was cool.. den comes the tour guide to fetch us.. i c his look alr sian half la, ard 40 plus years old.. den took bus to the hotel at Lantau, those who duno.. it was called Da Yu Shan.. wah, throughout the journey ah.. soo many curves n turns.. reali looks like we were inside the car of Takumi.. the route also looked very much like the scene wher they raced.. it was rather enjoying la.. n also dangerous.. becoz they only had the enough space to fit one vehicle.. however, it was 2-way route lehx.. that means ah, if there's another car coming from the other way, the car have to stop in the side to allow our bus to go.. imagine if both cars drive very fast, wah.. siao liao la..
reached hotel le.. this is the name of my hotel..
den inside the room, i found smth reali contradicting..
this was found next to my bed.. it was stated.. "Pls do not smoke"
but if that's the case, how come ther's an ash tray beside it.. take note, i dint shift the ash tray next to it.. it was alr like that when i reached there.. LOL..
ok.. this is outside the hotel.. reali windy n relaxing..
basically 1st day dint do anything much.. jux went for dinner at the nearby restaurant.. cos 1st day we were only finding a hotel for lodging..
sun.. morning call at 0730.. den went for breakfast.. oh, wat i can say abt their breakfast ne.. worse den s'pore sia.. i'm not saying hk's breakfast all like that la, but the breakfast that particular hotel served us, c le also no appetite.. anyway, after breakfast, ard 0930.. took our lugguage with us, set off to an "attractive" destination..
went to this buddha bai bai, den for lunch, we go for vegeterian food.. reali healthy sia..
after that, took bus again.... to a shop selling herbs n jewelleries at the upstairs.. of cos we wont be interested la.. we were only interested in their washroom, cos we took bus for almost 1 - 2 hrs alr..
next at ard 1330, went to another jewellery shop.. but this was different ok.. is was opened by our Da Ge, Jackie Chan lehx.. u ppl duno he opened a jewellery shop right.. lolXx.. it was called Jewellery City, cos by the initials of his name JC.. anyway i've bought a necklace from there.. becoz they said in 10 yrs time, if u find ur necklace old alr, u can jux go ther n change for a new one with the same price, regardless of pattern n design.. they will stil change for u...
AND i saw this pic, Micheal Jackson had been there b4.. n it was like 1993.. 12 yrs ago when he looked so cool n stylish, but now......... disappointment..
den went to the New World Centre (Xing Guang Da Dao)... the place where all the celebraties were there to take their awards i think.. n there.. i saw Bruce Lee !!
wanted to take a pic with him de, with the same pose as him.. but far too many ppl le.. ppl shy la.. lolXx..
time to take bus again..... took bus to the railway ( actually it was like s'pore's mrt station la).. know wat, we took mrt, together with our large n heavy luggage.. to SHENZHEN!! mrt can reach Shenzhen.. amazing hor..
fact : the boundary which separates Hong Kong and Shenzhen was juz a big drain..!! a big lang gao which u can find everywhere in s'pore.. reali amazing sia..
reached Shenzhen, took bus again.... to have dinner.. the 1st dish : braised duck!! wah, took got hope le.. but den.. the next few dishes... once a again, disppointment.. mainlky veggies.. they do love veggies alot.. n ah, their dishes all very oily de!! reali no appetite, go there can jian fei ah....
den check in n this goes another day..
mon.. 0730 morning call.. after having breakfast, went to a jade shop.. actually we dun have to go de la, not interested.. but it was the job of the tour guide to have us present at that destination, if not their head will reprimand them..
after that went to this place, called Xiao Ren Guo.. everything was mini size de.. n they showed the attractions of china, for eg, mini palace that those Emperors stayed, mini Great Wall of China, n many others history... went for the 1st show.. abt 2 states having a war.. n they reali rode on the horse to fight.. as in it looked reali real la.. coz the ground was those sandy sandy de.. if u've watched Shen Hua, n ya, the scene was as real as that...
however, for the next show we watched, it was on their cultures de.. reali boring la.. slept throughout the 90 mins show.. actually got 3rd show de, but we dint watch it, cos we returning on wed le, scared no time to shop so instead of watching the 3rd show, we went Tung Men shopping.. we took cab there.. if u think our dear taxi drivers are reckless, den u haven seen the worse..
fact : Shenzhen's cab drivers reali duno wat is DIE.. they changed lanes ah, ma jiam they r the only drivers on the road.. they nv show signal b4 switching lane.. not only that, they horns ah.. within 3 secs can hear le.. imagine throughout the journet.. *BEEP BEEP BEEP*.. reali annoying n irritating.. n every min u have to worry abt ur safety also.. exciting ride ah..
at there, quite crowded la.. cos the price not fixed de, but can bargain alot.. like pasar malam like that la.. many tourists n those locals would go there of cos.. shop shop shop.. bought 5 belts, 2 for laine n luan, 2 for con n ling.. n of cos 1 for myself la.. lolXx.. n their shop closes very early sia.. at ard 11, they close le..
tues.. 0630 morning call !!! went for breakfast at the restaurant.. but no seat sia.. how can that be!! they should take care of our welfare de.. but nvm la.. our tour guide ah, angry n scolded the waitress there.. becoz not only no seat, the food no more le also nv fill up de.. reali suckx la..
took bus to railway.. said gdbye to our dear tour guide at Shenzhen n went to Hung Hom met our HK tour guide.. sian, he super blur de lo.. dun like him.. we haven had our lunch n we have to rush to disneyland le.. in the end, we quickly went to ave a bite n after sending us to the hotel, put our luggage at the lobby only lo, dint have time to go to our room, n we had to take bus again.. to disneyland !!
was excited at 1st, but upon reaching ah.. not as nice as i expected lehx.. we looked at the map, thot the route to this place to another place was far, but we walked walked walked, eh.. reached le ah.. that's pretty fast.. n ther's nth much to take pics lehx.. we queued for almost 2 hrs jux to take the ride that was less than 5 mins.. lolXx.. i took the most thrilling ride in Disneyland!! but then ah, it was similar like S'pore's Escape's Panasonic la, if u have played that b4.. it was dark inside, n the surrounding was like in other space, with stars n satellite.. all i can say.... it was reali beautiful..
ard 6 pm plus, went back to hotel, take a rest den had claypot rice for dinner.. the scene very HK ah.. if u duno wat i mean.. i'm trying to say, the restaurant was alr very small le, but they stil invite many customers n make it so squeezy that u hardly had space to walk, once they had a little space on one table, they squeeze in as many ppl as possible..
ard 8 plus, we quickly went to Nu Ren Jie shop.. cos they close at 11 pm too.. got alot to shop lehx, actually i haven finished shopping de leh.. hahaha.. quite unfair to jun ah, cos we only went Nu Ren Jie, dint go Nan Ren Jie.. but anyway, Nu Ren Jie do sell shirts for guys too la.. Jun bought 5 shirts!! haha.. but for frens ah, we go HK like help ppl shopping de... LOLxX..
wed.. last day in HK le.. woke up early in the morning.. wanted go for dim sum, but they opened at 11 am.. sooo late hor.. that's how lazy hk ppl can be.. lolXx.. went to this particular restaurant, ordered those xiao chi ah, like you tiao ah, zhu chang fen ah.. all together got 18 ppl la.. coz got 3 families going together.. all these xiao chi ah, costed S$60 ah.. very ex sia.. think they cheated us la..
den did our last round of shopping.. n had to set off to airport le.. while the rest continued stay at HK.. reached airport at ard 4.. but our flight was at 1730.. went to have a bite.. n i had popeyes !! told laine abt it, n realised i kana cheated.. the meal i bought costed 8 bucks.. but in s'pore i think only 5 -6 bucks.. sian diao..
on the plane, i continued watch my Charlie n the Chocolate Factory.. omg, this show is reali stupid.. n poor vic, he wasted 9.50 bucks to watch this show in cinema.. lolXx..
reached s'pore, waited for cab for almost half an hr.. stepped out of the airport.. wah kao, wish i could fly back to HK.. the weather here reali very diff !! so warm.. omg.. but when i was inside the cab, relieved i was in S'pore's taxi.. the traffic here is stil the best...
reached jun's house ard 12 plus.. but i have to go home.. cos next day pba workshop.. siann..
thurs... went for poa lecture.. chatting with luan n sean.. den to pba workshop.. i simply hate tay ah bee.. i haven sit down n he called me to ans qn 6.. fark la.. den i replied him i wasnt here on mon, i duno.. n asshole, he replied me "precisely, u not here on mon, so i wanna make sure u know ur work".. oh pls.. students under ur teaching, duno a farking shit ok.. i mean we reali duno a thing.. shitter..
den stayed back for BCA presention.. sorry guys, have to wait for my return den present.. anyway, wasnt too gd la.. audrey missed out quite alot of points, den i presented my chart.. but nth much to be talked abt... when jeannie wong wanted to c the consolidate graphs, we dint have it in sherman's lappy.. but heng hy got it in her lappy... n soo, she told us to go outside n prepare the new one for her... i can c hy's face ah, fuming le.. however sherman kept quiet.. i tink not his usual self lehx.. abit not used la..
for the wcom report, i dint do anything.. i'm reali guilty abt it.. i kept asking sherman wat can i do.. but then, he said all done le.. wat i'm afraid is the peer evalution.. next proj i mux do more than the 3 of them le.. pls assign me more tasks to do in the next proj k dear sherman.. in the end, i only got to print the report out.. =(
fri had my test... hmmm.. thurs night slept at 10 plus.. woke up at 4 am to study... but studied bit bit, den played with my lappy.. in the end, i dun think i studied anything lo.. went into the exam hall, finally saw vic.. coz he wasnt here for wcom n poa tutorial, vomited n diarrhoea.. poor chap.. lolXx.. straight away test, he went home le..
me n laine took bus to orchard, she meeting her frens for dinner, me meeting jun for dinner.. on the bus talked a lot ah.. udst each other deeper le.. hahah.. rou ma hor.. lolXx.. den waited for jun's frens to arrive n we went newton circus for our dinner...
sat... meet jun's frens at shaw at 12 pm.. quite early hor.. but his fren need to book in at night le.. bo bian.. watched King Kong.. 3 hrs ah!! but not bad la, worth watching.. sad n touching la, i kept sobbing.. reali nice show ok.. mux watch !!
after movie, duno wher to go.. den someone suggested go jun's house steamboat.. ohhh.. cool, they so fast made decision.. n off we goo.. to shop n save, bought all the food n start our steamboat lo.. n this goes another day..
today... stayed at home whole day, cos jun booking in tmr le.. new unit.. mux reached there at 8 am.. rest at home lo.. he now posted to Military Police, next time i think is those police who catches guys who skipped NS or those who smokes when wearing uniform.. sounds fun ah.. lolxX.. n he get to raid sergeant's pirated VCDs also.. ahhaha...
anyway, hope he can get used to the life there la.. =)
