last night went to watch getai at my blk here.. sounds very auntie hor.. but.. reali very nice lehz.. although mostly aunties and uncles beside me la.. well.. i enjoyed their performance..
this year isnt the same as previous years la.. those were the times when they sang those remix of mei fei se wu and wat lao shu ai da mi.. now no more le la.. i was woken up by their singings at ard 7 plus.. den got the urge to watch sia..
there were such a big crowd when we arrived.. hosted by Wang Lei and Lan Yi Ling.. Wang Lei da ge is damn cuteeee la.. den i've bought his concert vcd for 12 bucks..
those hokkien songs.. all very nice lehz.. den there was this 15-yr-old ger from Malaysia, Li Bao En.. 1st time singing at singapore's yuan xiao jie.. wah.. her voice.. damn power la.. 15 yrs old only !! wow.. eye opening sehz..
this is the 1st time i stood there for ard 2 hrs, juz to watch getai..
there's another getai tonight.. hosting by Liu Ling Ling, the auntie from 881.. i'm gonna take a look at her performance ~
perhaps.. it was the show 881 which attracted me to watch getai la.. though the show was a little lame and lor soh.. we stil managed to sit throughout the movie..
therefore.. i hereby recommend u guys go take a look at our singapore's getai.. once in a year and indeed not a bad experience..
